lyrics
In an instant, I lost control of the wheel, frantically thinking, "how could this be real?" Oh, my god, what have I done? How could I make such a big mistake? At times, we're faced with situations we cannot handle. How we deal with these constant challenges will only help us to evolve. I'm not scared of death -- I am afraid of the words left unsaid. I wasn't ready for the pain. I haven't made my mark in history. I must remain relentless and ever-diligent to attain what I have chased for far too long. I'll play my role in this scripted tale called "life" until the face of retribution comes knocking at my door. In an instant, I lost control of the wheel and my sense of reality, frantically thinking this could not be real. Oh, my god, what have I done? Which path will take me down the long road toward understanding? How did I end up here, all alone, with nowhere left to go? I came to realize my mistakes held the answers. Looking back, things weren't so bad -- it could've been better, it could've been worse. I finally learned to deal with my problems the only way I knew how. Acceptance and forgiveness were the only things that mattered. I guess it's those types of qualities that help build integrity. It's all so clear. I have the answers. I have the key, finally. I can become the man I once knew I could be. At the end of the day, we all make mistakes. We all control our destinies. We're all just shells of potential bursting at the seams. In an instant, I lost control of the wheel, frantically thinking, "this cannot be real." Oh, my god, what have I done? How could this be happening?
